Who we are

PolySwing (“we”, “us”) operates the website at polyswing.co. We are the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at hello@polyswing.co.

What we collect

Only what you type into the waiting-list form, plus two things attached automatically:

• Your email address— because it's the only way to tell you when your city opens.
• An approximate country — a two-letter country code that Cloudflare derives from your connection. We use it to decide which cities to open first. It is not a location more precise than a country.
• The date you signed up, and which page you signed up from.

That is the entire record. There is no name field, no phone number, no profile, and no account, because there is nothing yet to have an account for.

What we deliberately don't collect

This section matters more than usual here. Interest in non-monogamy is sensitive information, and the safest data is the data that was never collected:

• We do not store your IP address. The waitlist reads a country code from the request and discards the rest.
• We set no cookies. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not at all. You will never see a cookie banner here, because there is nothing to consent to.
• We run no analytics or advertising trackers. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else — and we will not start without telling you first and giving you the chance to leave.

One exception, stated plainly

The design preview at polyswing.co/prototypeloads typefaces from Google Fonts. Viewing that page means Google's servers receive your IP address, as they would on any site using that service. The rest of polyswing.co makes no third-party requests at all. We intend to self-host those fonts and remove this exception.

Why we're allowed to hold it

Because you asked us to. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it — one email, no questions, no retention offer.

Who else touches it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site, serves it, and stores the waiting list in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare processes traffic on our behalf and, like any host or CDN, logs request metadata — which can include IP addresses — for security, abuse prevention, and reliability, under its own privacy policy. We access those logs only to keep the site up.

Resend delivers a short internal notification to us when someone joins the list, so we know the list is growing. That notification contains the email address that was just submitted. Resend processes it solely to deliver that message on our behalf.

There is no one else — no CRM, no analytics vendor, no advertising platform. If we add one, we'll name it here before we start using it.

Where it's stored

On Cloudflare's infrastructure, which is distributed internationally. If you're in the UK, EU, or EEA, that means your information may be processed outside your country, under the safeguards described in Cloudflare's policy.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until we decide not to build the app — whichever comes first. If this project doesn't launch, the entire waiting list gets deleted rather than sold, transferred, or left sitting on a server.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email hello@polyswing.co. We aim to respond within 30 days, and deletion is usually same-day because there is very little to delete.

If you're in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you're in the UK, EU, or EEA, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. The waiting list sits in a database reachable solely by our own server-side code, not from the browser. We keep so little that a breach would expose an email address and a country code — which is the point of keeping so little.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever suffer a breach affecting your information, we'll tell the people affected directly and promptly, not bury it in a policy update.

Discretion

We treat membership of this list as private in itself. We will not confirm to anyone — partner, employer, family member, or stranger — whether a given address is on it, except where we're legally compelled to. Emails we send will be plainly from PolySwing, so consider using an address you're comfortable receiving that at.

Adults only

This site is for people aged 18 or over. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has joined the waiting list, email us and we'll remove the record.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. For any change that meaningfully affects what happens to information we already hold, we'll email the people on the list before it takes effect.
